RELATION BETWEEN GLOBAL BUSINESS AND CHINA PHONE

From the above graph, we can conclude that the global business and China phone business are interrelated. The graph is rapidly increasing as there is no downfall. In the years 2012 and 2013, the increase in the commerce in 2013 is approx. 3 times as the commerce in 2012. The profit is calculated in US Dollars in billions. In 2014 and 2015 i.e. in future, the commerce is seen to be increasing with no downfall. So, within three years we can see how this is expanding with a huge profit.

From the source BAML, China manufactures 10 times as many cell phones per person as compared to the rest of the world. The global production of cell phone is 70.6 percent i.e. 83.6 units per 1,000 people in rest of the world.

If we talk about the smartphones which are well-known these days are also manufactured in China. The new Chinese data suggests that China overtake the United States as the world’s largest smartphone market, at least in the number of active smartphones. China has produced more than a billion mobile phones for the first11 months of 2012 with a 1.1 % fall from the last year. In Conclusion, the impact of Chinese phone over other phones are global and expanding day by day with the increase in production.

TECHNOLOGY AND QUALITY PRODUCTS IN CHINA

China’s rapid economic growth is in process due to increase in foreign trade with the upgrade of products. Still the products of China are considered to be low quality. If we compare the China’s speed with China’s quality, the outcome possibly would be unbelievable. The technologies used by the Chinese to make their products advanced are not different from other countries. However, their advancement in speed and low cost is something which leads them in manufacturing of maximum number of mobile phones and their sales.

China’s vice president of engineering, who work for US Chip Company said,
“The qualities of some of the product are bad, but it does not mean they don’t know how to make good quality phones. They do not want to spend their time in making perfect phones. The only thing they want is to sell their phones as much as they can.”
He gave the exception about the iPhone manufacturing which is being done in Foxconn factory in China and China becoming the leading markets for the chips industry.

Moreover, if we see from other aspects, cloning of phones of top companies like Samsung, Apple, Nokia is also maximum done in China. From the beginning to the end, they want the cellphones to be “Made In China” as well as cheapest. The way they elect to be on the top by selling maximum phones may worth them, but for the user whenever they see “Made In China”, the quality is always in “doubt”.

WHY CHINA IS PREFERRED?

China has introduced many new cell phones based on different operating systems. Apple, Samsung and other phones which are designed in different countries are all assembled in China. As from the reports, Apple products like Mac, iPhone, iPad have words embossed somewhere:“Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China”. This wonders everyone that why in China? Why Apple does not assemble their products in USA? At the dinner with top US technology executives, President Obama asked Steve jobs that, "what it will take to bring this back?"

According to Steve, there’s simply no way. The infrastructure and labor force needed to assemble these products is so high that it does not exist in USA. “USA is not even close”.
“Working for 12 hours a day and six days a week, the pay of the labors is not even US $17 per day”.
It’s quite outrageous. If everything should be done in USA, the cost of iPhone 4S would be US $1000. This is because of the benefits including insurance, vacation pay etc. that has to be given to the labor in the US. So, none other country than China is considered to be best in getting their phones assembled. Check out the video of the Foxconn (Biggest dealer of the Apple).

CHINA POWER IN CELL PHONES

Observing the country from past years, it’s almost everything seems made in China. The area of 9,600,000 sq. km, with population of 1.3 billion (As of 2004) is successful in making every gadget get written at back “Made In china”. Why? Do the other countries don’t have the capabilities of assembling the phones in their country? Or being smarter they looking for a huge profit?

The answer would be difficult if the production done in China would be normal like other countries. The growth in the production of cellphones is increasing with the increase of population. Skilled labors and advanced technology people are ready to do whatever they can possess in new generation. China is still the king of worldwide mobile prone production.

People are less frequently shifting to smartphones from their old phones because they are expensive. But production of different smartphones in China has made it easier to buy smartphones at fewer prices. If I talk about the Chinese cell phones, they have slick appearance like famous brands Apple iPhone and Samsung. But other phones of China are giving worthy competition to the other countries.
